Understanding
Booking
– You are responsible for getting yourself to the tour start location.
– You must select your own roommates and specify them at the time of booking – J1 Explorers does not do roommate matching.
– You should read and understand: 1) what is included and what is not included (seen included/not included tab) 2) Terms and Conditions.
– You should ensure that you have all of the required paperwork including proof of Visa and any other travel paperwork required.
– You will need to use a credit card at each hotel to secure your room for any incidentals and possible damage – the credit card is not for paying for the room because that is included in the tour price) – only one credit card is required per room.
– Payments made within 30 days of the tour start are non-refundable for any reason and non-transferable.c

– Price is determined by how many people you choose to have in your room (up to 4)
– People can pay individually or together
STEP 3 | Add optional days for steeply discounted rates
– You can add a day in LA or NYC or both
– Only $99 each for each day added.
STEP 4 | Choose optional activities and specify dates
– Optional activities require reservations. So, you will need to choose your dates. We will send you an email so that you can reserve your dates
– City at night tour in Las Vegas and New York City (included)
STEP 5 | Make payment(s)
– All people listed on your reservation as roommates must complete their booking including making payments within 24 hours or there could be a rate increase.
– You can use a credit or debit card or PayPal.
– Pay for your entire group or individually.
Prices based on roommates
You can book for as many people as you would like.
Rates are based on the number of people in a room.
For the best per person rate there must be 4 people in a room.
For any bookings of less than 4 people in a room there will be an additional fee added to each person

Optional activities included in the price:
– You must specify the optional activities that you want to participate in on or before the first day of the tour.
– Night tour in Las Vegas – 2.5 to 3 hrs (included)
– Night tour in New York City – 2.5 hrs (included)
– Harbor/Statue of Liberty cruise – 2.5 hrs (included)
– Free bike rental in Central Park – 2 hrs (included)
Optional activities requiring an additional fee:
– Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam tour (11 hrs) instead of the hop-on hop-off and night tour (additional $75 – replaces hop-on/hop-off tours)
You can add an additional day before the start of the 7-day tour or after the end of it.
It is very important that the information that you provide is accurate because that information will be used to book your flights and reserve rooms. The information you provide must match the ID that you are going to use which will most likely be your passport. If the information does not match you may be denied boarding and it would be solely your responsibility for booking and paying for new flights for you to be able to continue on the tour.

Other:
Transportation to and from the hotel to Manhattan one time on days 6 and 7 (only included for day 7 if the optional day in NYC was added.)
Shuttles:
– from Santa Monica to airport on day 3
– from airport to Las Vegas hotel on day 3
– from Las Vegas hotel to airport on day 5
– from the airport to the NJ or NYC hotel on day 5

Not Included
– Any meals.
– Any baggage other than a carry-on.
– Admission fees (The hop-on hop-off buses can get you to many of the sights listed in the sights to see sections, but the tour does not include any admission fees charged if you decide to enter any of the sights).
– We use third party payment providers and do not have access to your payment information other than your name and credit card type used.
– Payments for the booking party (the roommates) can be paid in total or individually.
– Payments made within 30 days of the tour start are non-refundable and non-transferable.
– We will send you an invoice to the email that you specify with a secure link to make a payment to secure your spot on a tour.
– Lodging could be in hotels or hostels.
– Hotel rooms will have at minimum two queen or double-sized beds.
– If you choose to have more than two people in your room, it will be up to the roommates that you specify to determine how the sleeping arrangements will work and J1 Explorers will have no involvement in that.
– Lodging for the tour group will in most cases be in the same hotel or hostel, but might not be.
– Lodging expenses are included in the tour price, but each room each night will require a credit card for any incidentals and potential damage (only one credit card is required per room per night).
– Room configurations are similar, but not necessarily the same and will be assigned randomly.
– Rooming in a could be private rooms for the roommates that you specified with a bed for each were grouped based solely on gender with dormitory style rooming.
