Who we are
J1 Explorers is a tour operator that coordinates tours across the United States specifically for foreign work-visa guests and their friends.
What we offer
– We choose locations based on ease of access and convenience.
– No need for expensive and long commutes to get to where the action is.
We have group flights and lodging, but our tours are completely customizable hop-on/hop-off style so you can:
– See the sights you want, when you want, for as long as you want.
– Skip the sights you aren’t interested in.
– Travel at your own pace – see it all or just relax on the beach!
– Add optional activities based on your interests.
We use:
– Experienced local guides
– Well established service providers
– Lodging in convenient locations
– Dedicated group coordinators in each city
How we do it
One size does NOT fit all!
– The more the merrier……….and the cheaper!
– You can have your own room or up to three roommates (a total of four people in a room).

– Night tour in Las Vegas – 2.5 to 3 hrs (included)
– Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam tour (11 hrs) instead of the hop-on hop-off and night tour (additional $75 – replaces hop-on/hop-off tours)
– Night tour in New York City – 2.5 hrs (included)
– Harbor/Statue of Liberty cruise – 2.5 hrs (included)
– Free bike rental in Central Park – 2 hrs (included)
– Add first additional day in LA or New York City for only $99!

– Meals not included – so, you don’t pay for something you don’t want

The lodging map locations are only suggestive of the probable accommodations locations. There might be more than one place used for lodging on any night.
Accommodations locations:
- For LA: Santa Monica near the beach and the 3rd Street Promenade.
- For Las Vegas: About 1 block off the middle of the Strip, near Caesar’s Palace, and steps from the monorail station for easy access up and down the Strip.
- For NYC: Actually located just across the Hudson River in New Jersey with easy access to the PATH train with 24-hour service to Manhattan.
The sights listed are accessible by walking or by using the hop-on/hop-off bus. The hop-on/hop-off bus will get you near the locations, but will sometimes require a short walk based on where the bus stops. Some sights are free to enter and others have admission fees and no admission fees are included in the tour price.
* The Hollywood sign is up a steep hill and is viewable from the hop-on hop-off bus route, but is not immediately accessible from it. There is a hike that you can do on your own if you would like to get closer to it.
